We are pleased to be opening at our full opening hours again and still accepting customers in store. We are running a strict one customer (children allowed) in the shop at one time to ensure both customer and staff safety. This allows us to keep social distancing practices in place and make sure we can serve our customers to our best abilities.
We know many of our customers are still concerned, so we continue to offer the 'No Contact Collection' service from our Northallerton store - both online and over the phone - please see older posts for more details.
Thank you for the support you all continue to show.
We are still processing online orders, telephone orders, click & collect orders however we have reduced our opening times to close at 3pm every day. In such uncertain times, deliveries from our Couriers and Royal Mail may take slightly longer however our despatch times are as normal.
No Contact Collection
With contactless options becoming more popular, we're offering a no-contact collection service from our Northallerton store. You can ring up and let us know you would like to use the 'no contact' option to collect. Payment will be taken over the phone. Alternatively, you can place your click and collect order on our website and in the delivery instructions state you would like to use the 'no contact' option along with your vehicle registration. If you ring 5 minutes before arrival with your name and registration, we will place your order on a pallet to the side of the shop ready for our staff to load into your vehicle.
It's very easy to use the click and collect service on our website and we encourage anyone who is concerned to take advantage. Our full range of stock is on the website; follow the link above to be taken to mcivors.co.uk.
Finally, just a reminder that any of our local customers that may have to self isolate can get in touch via our Facebook page or on 01609 780500 and we will deliver their feed to them free of charge on an evening after opening hours.
Our doors are still open as usual and if you would like to know more about our additional 'no contact' collection service please refer to our last post.
Here at McIvors, as long as we can get the stock we're committed to supplying feed no matter the time of day.
Anyone that is a key worker doing long shifts and is struggling to get to us during working hours, please get in contact and we will open up our Northallerton store especially.
Your support is immensely appreciated at such a difficult time.
We are big believers in supporting local businesses no matter the industry or circumstance.
Thanks from everyone here at McIvors.
Following government guidelines, we are open as usual.
However, we will be implementing a few new measures to ensure the safety of our customers and staff.
We are encouraging people to ring the shop, pay over the phone and we will leave your order outside the shop for a no contact collection. The shop will still be open, however there is only one person allowed in at any time and we are on a strict no browsing policy. We ask that anyone visiting the shop adheres to social distancing in respect of our staff and other customers.
Due to a certain amount of bulk buying, we are a little short on a few items of stock and will have to ask that customers are considerate when ordering. We are still receiving deliveries regularly from the UK & Ireland.
We are encouraging people to pay by contactless or Apple Pay and to please stay away from using cash where possible.
We will still be accepting chip and pin.
This is such a difficult time for everyone and we are here to do our best to put your mind at rest and make sure your animals don’t go without feed.
Thank you for your continued support.
